The Frontosta (6"x8.5" Drawing)
I decided to draw a fish called a Purple Frontosta. As a youth, my brother and I used to wander into a store called “Su Aquarium” in Hawthorne, CA back in 1985. These fish were $100.00 each and I remember seeing a huge aquarium full of them. I thought to myself.. one day I am going to go back to that store and buy the entire aquarium including all of those fish!
